What is the Voxel Theme?

The Voxel WordPress Theme is a dynamic content, conditional logic, content restrictions, membership, booking, directory and multivendor split-payments, all-in-one framework, used for building complex dynamic websites.

Voxel excels in use cases where frontend user accounts, post management, multi-vendor booking/sales, and user-to-user messaging are concerned.

With the ability to create and manage custom post types, user profiles, save collections, social wall post feeds, bookings, memberships, subscriptions and map geolocation, all with dynamic visibility and full design control, Voxel is a dynamic content powerhouse.

The Voxel WordPress Theme is developed by the team at 27 Collective, the same team that developed the MyListing directory theme. While many of the early adopters came from a directory use case, the Voxel Theme can be used for much more than just directories.

Voxel Theme Features

The Voxel Theme incorporates key tools, systems and features in a single package, to build complex and dynamic WordPress sites.

  • Search, filters and facets
  • Maps and geolocation

Voxel Theme Performance

The Voxel Theme boasts outstanding query performance for advanced filtering and faceted search options. This is accomplished through the use of custom index tables dedicated solely to searching and filtering.

Each post type has its own index table, containing only the essential data required for the filters of that specific post type to function. This approach eliminates the need for queries to the wp_posts/wp_postmeta tables, thereby overcoming the traditional limitations of searching the entire wp_postmeta index in WP searches.

Will Voxel use WooCommerce?

No. The Voxel Theme will not require WooCommerce.

Instead, Voxel has a built-in payment system, which will handle both one-off payments and subscriptions.

Voxel will natively support subscriptions, memberships and bookings, saving users potentially hundreds of dollars each year compared to WooCommerce’s integrations.

Subscriptions, Membership and Bookings will be native to the Voxel Theme

WooCommerce will still work if you choose to install it, as it would with any other theme, but the theme devs do not recommend it.

By removing the reliance on WooCommerce for taking payments and managing the login account, website owners can expect to see a significant reduction in script sizes and requests needed to load each page. This will result in faster page load speeds and a better user experience.

Payment Gateways

Stripe is the only payment gateway currently supported.

Other payment gateways will be considered post-launch.

Supported Page Builders

The Voxel WordPress Theme uses the Elementor page builder (the free version) or Voxel Elements: a custom version of Elementor optimized for Voxel.

Breakdance and Gutenberg will be supported in the future.

Voxel Theme Price

The Voxel WordPress Theme price is $59 /year for a single-site licence, $199 /year for an unlimited site licence, or Voxel has an unlimited lifetime deal (LTD) for $499. (Price in USD)All licences give access to premium support and automatic updates.
